Musings, Taking Stock

A Happy Thanksgiving Indeed…

Dear Friends…Readers…Those who wonder who on earth I am…

As I write this, a cease-fire between Israel and Hezbollah is being announced.

We have a son and daughter-in-law living in Tel Aviv.

Naturally their well-being has been uppermost in our minds.

We are profoundly hopeful that now peace will spread and all innocents affected by the post-October 7th conflagration will have a chance—find a way–to live as once they did.

And not the least as I write this, Bill and I want to send our warm wishes to you and yours for a Happy Thanksgiving.

Much to give thanks for.

Way too many blessings to count around here…

We hope it’s the same for you.

  • As a person that has always cooked, I buy and have been given many cookbooks. Your “Kitchen Garden” has provided many delights and remains among the select few that have a place on the counter. Yesterday, it was the Doukhobor Borscht that wowed us. Simple ingredients transformed into a lovely and delicious dinner. Thank you and my sister-in-law that gifted me the book way back when.
